Classic Game Room presents a CGR Undertow review of THE DARING GAME FOR GIRLS from Majesco for Nintendo Wii. Are you daring and a female human being between the ages of -8.9 months and 13 years old? Here's the game for you? A collection of mini games that is strung together with a story to seem less a collection of mini games sprinkled with fun facts and trivia. While we are certainly not the target audience for this game parents may get a kick out of the review and find a game for their girls to enjoy. Solid production values and controls make this package better than its title would have you believe. Sadly, so many poorly produced mini-game collections have cast a shadow over this genre, but The Daring Game for Girls kicks some girl-power into the fact of lesser mini game collections with a bit of style. This is one of those family friendly kids oriented cooking style video games where you point and click your way to success with the Nintendo Wiimote. Based on a free Flash game that can be played online, Miniclip Sushi Go Round offers Wii games a game where you take orders, roll them up in Sushi roll things and serve to customers. You can play the game in a one player more or 2 player multiplayer for family fun. Sushi Go-Round is similar to Burger Island on the Wii and numerous other food preparation games. It's fun but there's not much too it and the presentation could have been better for the Wii. Classic Game Room HD reviews WALK IT OUT! for Nintendo Wii from Konami. This family friendly exercise game for the Wii is a creative way to make walking less boring. You earn credits for each step that you take to the beat and spend those points on buildings, bridges, trees and other items to built a fantastic island! This clever game works with the standard Wii and Nunckuk controller, Dance Dance Revolution mat and Wii Fit Balance Board. Walk it Out features dozens of pop songs from groups like the Go Gos and Black Eyed Peas. As you're exploring the island you can also collect new songs and play mini-games. Walk it Out for Wii works fairly well and requires players to march in time to the music, although you can also walk in circles. Theres a new contender for the title of worst Wii game of all time, and as the Highlander once said, there can be only one. The challenger is known simply as Block Party. Formed deep within the womb of time, the game was spawned by the development and publishing tandem of Ivolgamus and Activision, the same dream team which gave birth to Monkey Mischief: Party Time, a similarly repugnant slab of immutable Wii detritus. For Block Party, however, Ivolgamus and Activision have gone to unprecedented lengths, using the blood of a goblin, seven drops of mucous from the Wind Squid and spoiled milk from the rancid teat of a three-headed demon to create a game so unspeakably unplayable, even the awful Chicken Shoot trembles at its very presence. Or so Ive read on parchment scrolls dating back millennia. And Internet forums. In all seriousness, Block Party is bad. Really bad, in fact, and I dont mean that in a Well, I didnt like it, but you might sense. Its inconceivable to me that a person would find anything even remotely worthwhile or entertaining about this game. Block Party is not only offensively substandard; its also technically flawed, a bit frightening and even downright misleading. A collection of about 50 children opening up their Christmas (or other holiday presents only to be surprised by getting a Nintendo Wii under the wrapping paper.
