Judging by the way the 2nd season ended I’m guessing they’re planning a 3rd season.

People are getting smarter with licensed games. Just copy simple old school games and slap on the characters and tada decent game for the kids and fans.

I agree with Ben 10 being good. Right up there with Avatar, Batman Brave & The Bold, and The new Wolverine/X-men show.

My nephew use to watch this show. Decent idea, but the way they executed it was horrible. TMNT was way better.

The first series, Ben 10 was okay but Ben 10:Alien Force stepped up the quality quite a bit. It was surprising to see them let the characters grow up a bit and introduce an arcing storyling instead of the first series “monster-of-the-week” formula. It will be interesting to see if they get a third season and if they further mature the characters.

You you want a game like Streets of Rage on the, I think that you should play Madworld first. It’s great and it has that oldschool style.

Games have always been stereotypical. It’s just now that you are finally starting to notice.

And please, this game is for the Wii, which is mostly a console for children and casual gamers, that don’t like playing a space marine in every single video game they can buy for their console.

Get where your coming form though.

We can call it quits in saying that going next gen was a mistake, and that anything after Nintendo 64(besides the Dreamcast) was a step back. :)

Most new cartoons for the younger generation, I would call the “Suck my balls” generation, because they’re not that good for the older viewers who watched kick-*** cartoons like Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.

cant wait for punch out on the wii

I’m 28, and have never seen the show Ben10… But the game looks semi-decent. Nothing horrible, nothing amazing, just somewhere in the middle. IMO, one of the best beat-em-ups based on a licensed cartoon was: ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles IV: Turtles in Time’ on the SNES. I friggin’ loved that one.

Also, speaking of beat-em-ups on the Wii, I’m surprised you haven’t reviewed Mad World yet.

The PS2 version looks better, I think.

In Hiberia, this game is called Hek Den. It is upscaled to 720p through our televisions and it produces THX sound.

The fact that you mentioned the greatest animated film of all time, AND have a poster of it, while you play Ben 10 Alien Force on the Wii, goes to show how amazing you are, Mark.

Good review, not so good Cartoon. They don’t make ‘em like they used to!

  23. edward18517 April 4, 2009 8:12 pm

actually, Ben 10 is one of the better shows on cartoon network nowadays and one that actually has a plot.

  24. atlantaaintbraver April 4, 2009 9:12 pm

There is no Ben 11 Alien Force. I think you meant Bert Blyleven Alien Force.

  25. nathanallan1 April 4, 2009 9:12 pm

Cartoon Network is having a kind of Ben10 marathon, check it out.

  26. mifster1 April 4, 2009 10:12 pm

i like streets of rage i recently bought it from a carboot along with a mega drive

  27. TeamDataDrain April 4, 2009 10:12 pm

Best thing about the show is Ben’s voice actor.. Yuri Lowanthal!

  28. xg4bx April 4, 2009 10:12 pm

i agree. just because its a “childs game” doesn’t mean it has to be **** or have a cartoon license. im 31 and i was playing contra, metal gear and life force as a kid. i started gaming with atlantis and demon attack, i didn’t need some cynical, cartoon money grab to get me into games.

  29. oORAYOoORAYOo April 4, 2009 11:12 pm

    looks like ****.
