What’s bad about the Gamecube? That has loads of amazing games. Zelda Wind Waker, Pikmin 1 and 2, Mario sunshine, Animal Crossing, Paper Mario the thousand year door, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles, Chibi Robo, Resident Evil 4 (GCN exclusive originally), Metal Gear Solid the twin snakes, Donkey Konga, F Zero GX, Mario Kart Double dash and Metroid Prime 1 and 2 are some examples of amazing games on the GC. The others I agree with, but You forgot the virtual boy by nintendo. That was a failure.

As surprising as it may be, your Wii advantage idea isn’t too far fetched. There are adapters you can buy that plug into the gamcube socket to allow you to use NES controllers on VC games.

PS3 + Wii = The best combo this gen. 360 sucks because the systems die out in a year or so. I have had my Genesis for 16 years and even that still works.
